Description

In Loving Memory of My Mother
This soap is inspired by the love and dedication of my mother, who shared her life with me for seven years after my father passed and she came moved from California to Washington DC to live with me. One of her many thoughtful contributions to my craft was gathering and drying flowers from my garden, including the fallen flower leaves from the magnolia tree. In January 2024, my mother passed away suddenly from undiagnosed stage 4 pancreatic cancer. To honor her memory, I created MAC Magnolia Blossom (floral) and MAC Magnolia Leaf (woodsy) soaps as a tribute to her spirit, kindness, and love. The soaps are made with oil infused with the dried flower leaves. A portion of each purchase is donated to programs that help others find healing and support in their journey.
